Haute-Vienne: a charming region

Pensol is a small town in Haute-Vienne located in the heart of the Périgord-Limousin Regional National Park.



In the south of the department, only a few kilometers from the Dordogne and Charente, the region is ideal for outdoor activities, but also for discovering a natural, cultural and historical heritage.

Around Pensol you will find forests, rivers, castles, and a thousand pretty walks to do between Périgord and Limousin, without forgetting the local gastronomy to discover.

The Périgord Limousin Regional National Park extends over a vast territory stretching from the Bocage Limousin to the Périgord valleys, passing through the Feuillardiers massif where the Old Pensol House is located (Beneficiary of the "" Valeurs Parc brand Natural "" since June 2018)

Many outdoor activities and leisures will be offered to you (Geocaching, nautical activities in the many water bodies, cycle track, hikes…).

Beautiful gardens and natural sites are also worth a visit.

By traveling along the Richard the Lionheart road which crosses the territory, you will witness the many buildings registered or classified as historical heritage.
